The New Brunswick Building & Construction Trades Council was founded on the fundamental understanding that when NB's union construction organizations & their members, contractors, industrial owners, construction associations, minority groups, educational & training institutions and all 3 levels of government 'work together' it will result in the overall prosperity of the construction industry in New Brunswick.

The New Brunswick Building & Construction Trades Council is pleased to support the objectives of our numerous construction industry stakeholders and partners.

MAP Strategic Workforce Services (MAPSWS)

The NBBTU is proud to support NBMAP, a program devoted to enabling effective teaching and learning on construction worksites, New Boots, a province wide resource for women who are looking to build a career in the skilled trades, who are already in the trades and need support or would like to mentor other women, and First in Trades, a five-year pilot project to provide a meaningful training and employment experience to Indigenous peoples and increase the participation of Indigenous apprentices among the affiliate unions.
